Provincial delegation extends Tet greetings to officers and soldiers of Naval Region 3
From January 9 to to 12, Binh Duong provincial delegation, led by Colonel Nguyen Hoang Minh, a member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Commander of provincial Military Command, visited, presented gifts and extended Tet greetings to officers and soldiers of the Naval Region 3.
Accordingly, on the morning of January 9, the delegation visited, presented gifts and extended Tet greetings to officers and soldiers of the Naval Region 3 Command and its affiliated units in Da Nang city. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025, Colonel Nguyen Hoang Minh wished the officers and soldiers of the Naval Region 3 Command and its affiliated units, along with their families, good health, success in their assigned tasks, further upholding the tradition of "Proactive, united and coordinated to master the sea, determined to fight and win”.
*On the afternoon of the same day, Binh Duong provincial delegation, along with nearly 170 delegates from organizations, agencies businesses, individuals, journalists and editors from both central and local press agencies, embarked on Ship 390 of Naval Region 3. They set off to visit and extend Tet greetings to people, officers and soldiers living, working and carrying out missions on Con Co island in Quang Tri province and Ly Son island in Quang Ngai province.
*On the morning of January 10, Ship 390 brought the delegation to the vicinity of Con Co island. However, due to harsh weather conditions, with strong waves and rough sea, gifts and supplies were transferred from Ship 390 to fishing boats to be brought to the island, but the delegates were unable to land on the island.
Through a live video connection with Con Co island, colonel Pham Dinh Thanh, Deputy Political Commissar of the Naval Region 3, wished all officers, soldiers and residents on the island a prosperous Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025, with good health, a joyful spring while staying focused on their duties, being ready to fight and firmly holding their weapons to protect the sacred sea and islands of the nation. He also wished Con Co Island new strides in socio-economic development, strengthening the national defense posture associated with the people’s security framework.
After leaving Con Co sea area, Ship 390 continued its journey towards Ly Son island in Quang Ngai province.
