Over 1,000 children attend 18th provincial "Spring for Disadvantaged Children" program
On the afternoon of January 14, the Sponsoring Council of provincial Children’s Support Fund organized the 18th provincial "Spring for Disadvantaged Children" program at provincial Convention and Exhibition Center. The event was attended by Nguyen Van Loc, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Chairman of provincial People's Council; leaders from provincial People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee; leaders from provincial departments and sectors, along with 1,000 children with difficult circumstances, disabled children and orphans across the province.
The year 2025 marks the 28th anniversary of the establishment and development of provincial Children's Support Fund, with the motto of “Dedicated - Transparent - Timely - Collaborative”. Over this time, the Sponsoring Council of provincial Children’s Support Fund has received support and cooperation from economic organizations, businesses and individuals, totaling nearly VND 135 billion, benefiting over 135,000 children through various charitable programs.
On the occasion of the 2025 Tet festival, the “Spring for Disadvantaged Children 2025” program presented gifts to 1,800 disadvantaged children throughout the province, along with other support totaling VND 2.3 billion.
During the event, the Organization Board also provided long-term sponsorship to 48 orphans, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with a total of more than VND 345 million and support the “Every kind heart – Making dreams come true”, benefiting 9 children, with a total funding of over VND 131 million.
In the program, nearly 80 businesses in and out of the province continued contributing to provincial Children’s Support Fund, with a total of over VND 4 billion, along with many Tet gifts.
