Enhance the propagation of important national events

On January 16, the Central Commission of Popularization and Education held a January 2025 Reporters Conference to provide current information to grassroots reporters and to orient information in the coming time. Phan Xuan Thuy, Deputy Head of the Central Commission of Popularization and Education, chaired the conference in Hanoi. The conference was held in person and online at more than 2,400 locations nationwide with nearly 45,000 delegates attending.

At the conference, leaders of the Ministry of Planning and Investment provided information on the topic "Overview of the socio-economic situation in 2024; forecast of the situation and plan for socio-economic development in 2025"; representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs provided information on the topic "Overview of the global situation, foreign affairs and diplomacy activities of the Party and State in 2024, forecast of the global situation and foreign affairs and diplomacy tasks in 2025"; leaders of the Popularization Information Center presented a summary of some outstanding results of oral propaganda work in 2024.

Regarding the popularization and education orientation in 2025, Deputy Head of the Central Commission of Popularization and Education Phan Xuan Thuy emphasized that in 2025, our country would have many especially important political and historical events, such as: Celebrating the 95th anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025); 50 years of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); 80 years of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025)..., therefore, the team of reporters needs to uphold a proactive and creative role, step up oral popularization and education on the above issues. At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen propaganda on the preparation and organization of Party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress; the spirit of urgency and determination in directing and operating from the Central to local levels on activities of reorganizing and streamlining the apparatus...
