Developing Bac Tan Uyen district into a town in the period 2030-2040

The Provincial People's Committee has issued Decision No. 2947/QD-UBND on approving the Construction Planning Project of Bac Tan Uyen district until 2040. Accordingly, the research scope according to the administrative boundaries of Bac Tan Uyen district with an area of 40,030.8 hectares, including 2 towns of Tan Thanh, Tan Binh and 8 communes (Binh My, Tan Lap, Dat Cuoc, Tan Dinh, Hieu Liem, Lac An, Thuong Tan, Tan My); the north borders Phu Giao district and Bau Bang district; the south borders Tan Uyen city and Dong Nai river (Vinh Cuu district, Dong Nai province); the east borders Be river and Dong Nai river; the west borders Ben Cat city.

Planning period: Short term to 2030, long term to 2040. Population size: Forecast by 2030 about 180,000 - 250,000 people; by 2040 about 300,000 people.

The Bac Tan Uyen District Construction Planning Project for 2040 aims to implement the socio-economic development strategy outlined in the Binh Duong Provincial Planning for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision extending to 2050. The project intends to transform Bac Tan Uyen District into an eastern development hub of the province, connected to the regional transportation system. Additionally, it strives to achieve the goal of designating Bac Tan Uyen District as Bac Tan Uyen Town during the period between 2030 and 2040.
