The Provincial People's Committee has issued Decision No. 2972/QD-UBND on approving the Construction Planning Project of Bau Bang district to 2040. Accordingly, the research scope is the entire administrative boundary of Bau Bang district with an area of 34,002.11 hectares, including Lai Uyen town and 6 communes (Cay Truong 2, Hung Hoa, Lai Hung, Long Nguyen, Tan Hung, Tru Van Tho); the North borders Chon Thanh town, Binh Phuoc province; the South borders Ben Cat city; the East borders Phu Giao district; the West borders Dau Tieng district. Population size by 2030 will be about 320,000-350,000 people; by 2040 will be about 480,000-500,000 people.
